Welcome!  This year the Junior League of Columbus is celebrating 75 years of service to the Columbus, Georgia community and surrounding areas.   The Junior League of Columbus (JLC) is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. 

It is our mission to work for positive change in our community.  This change has its roots in the everyday work of our members.  As we volunteer together and train together, we form a bond that goes beyond a simple friendship; it is a bond that will connect us for the rest of our lives knowing that we have indeed made a difference in our community and in the lives of one another. 

We have a rich history in Columbus, Georgia.  We identify needs in our community and put our financial and volunteer resources toward meeting those needs in a measurable way.  Our community is a better place to live thanks to the women of the JLC who have donated countless volunteer hours. 

The JLC is an exciting, growing organization, and is constantly seeking new members who are passionate about improving the community.  If you are interested in making a difference and making new friends while you become a trained volunteer, we would like to hear from you.
