The enabling fund provides a means through which the league may respond to the short term needs of various agencies and organizations in the Columbus area. To apply for assistance the agency needs to document their need in a letter or on the attached form. The request should be sent to the following address:

Each request must meet the following criteria for the Enabling Fund Committee to approve the request.
Applicants must be a non profit tax exempt organization
- The proposal must within one of the junior league’s focus areas
- The proposal must represent needs of an immediate nature
- Funds must be used within the area represented by the League (Columbus area)
- The organization must have prospects for continued funding
Things not to be considered: Scholarship or tuitions, sectarian religious projects, travel expenses, individuals, recurring needs, general operating expenses, fundraising, political activities. No organization may receive more than $2000 from the fund within any one 24 month period.
