Letter from the President

Summer 2021

I hope all of you are having a healthy and peaceful summer thus far!

It is my honor and privilege to serve the Junior League of Columbus as President in the 2021 – 2022 League year.  I look forward to supporting and working beside you all towards building a deeper connection with each other and our community this League year.

Each year builds on the last, and I must give a huge thank you to our outgoing president Julie King for an outstanding 2020 – 2021 League year.  Due to her dedication and leadership, the JLC was able to continue making an impact on our community through the unprecedented times. The Lakebottom 5K may have looked a bit different this year, but was able to take place safely. Kids in the Kitchen became a virtual event and was able to expand our reach to more than three times the amount of children. Thank you Julie for giving grace and for your continued support of the League.

I hope to see all of you at our first big event of the year – the Lakebottom 5K on August 21.  We invite and welcome all members (Provisionals, Actives, and Sustainers) to all of our events.  This is your League! Please let me know if there is anything that I can do!

Yours in Service,
Cathlina Cartledge
