Teens Who Care Scholarship Program

The Junior League of Columbus, Georgia, Inc. announces the availability of the Teens Who Care Scholarship. Three high school seniors will be selected to receive $1,000 scholarships to be used for tuition for their college education or other educational expenses as needed. Candidates must be high school seniors from the Columbus area and must have demonstrated a sincere desire to be of service to others through volunteer activities in the community.

Applications are made available to students only through the guidance office at their school, but nominations may be made by any individual that is familiar with the volunteer efforts of the nominee.  Please feel free to nominate any deserving student and encourage students to pick up a Teens Who Care Nomination Form at the guidance office. Awards will be presented in early May.

We are pleased to have the opportunity to offer these scholarships to students from our area schools, and we appreciate your efforts to help us spread the word and submit applications on their behalf.  Thank you!  If you have any questions, please call the Junior League office at 706-327-4207.
